Nick has been writing software since the early 1980's, when he first started programming in Basic and 6502 assembly language on his Apple ][e (a computer which he still has). He began his professional software engineering career at Apple, where he helped create ClarisDraw and ClarisImpact. After leaving Apple, Mr. Triantos worked on system-level software at 3DO, Navio Communications (sold to Oracle), and NVIDIA (NASDAQ: NVDA), where he created NVIDIA's OpenGL software, and later became VP and Chief Software Architect. In 2005, Mr. Triantos left to work in venture capital and as an angel investor, and then joined TokBox in 2007. Nick became CEO of TokBox in early 2008, and held that position until mid-2009. In late 2009, Nick joined Perceptive Pixel as VP of Engineering, and helped to build touchscreen-driven systems and software which are delivered to numerous television studios, government agencies, and research centers. He left Perceptive Pixel to found ionGrid shortly after the launch of the iPad.
Nick holds a B.S. in Computer Science, as well as dual MBA degrees from Columbia University and UC Berkeley.
